Stalefate

This would be the section of the website where we go on about our previous bands, accolades, big bands we have toured with or opened for, musical accomplishments, blah, blah, blah. This of course would be to impress labels, management companies, radio, press, etc.  and should sound all sound super “professional”.   

Then one would go into some abstract description of the music that we are writing, with  phrases like “pummeling beats”…”heavy, hooky guitar riffs”…”heart pounding bass”….”powerful  yet soulful vocals”….”Hard rock/grunge-esque/metal that projects a heart and soul that seems to be hard to find in the modern-day world of streaming and app-based recording”...  ” It’s as if  Stalefate has tapped into some sort of Hard Rock aether and summoned the spirits of the rock gods” or some garbage like that.  

But this lot has been there and done that….so many times…  

Instead, we want to thank our loved ones and the sacrifices they make so we can birth the music that sings to us in our dreams or pours from our subconscious. They are our wives, kids and family members who hold strong in our absence while we write, rehearse, record and tour.  Please know how much we appreciate your sacrifice; we do not to take it for granted.     

We also want to thank all of our fans of this and previous bands. Every time you reach out to us, we hear you. When you share how our music pulled you from the darkness, helped you work through a painful memory or gave you a needed escape in a turbulent time, that motivates us. It lights the fire when we are in doubt. It reminds us why we are here. It shows us that the  work and sacrifice over so very many years was not in vain. It teaches us to learn from our  failures and to keep pushing, we must keep creating, we must keep rocking. Therefore, our promise to you is to carry on in a similar sonic arena of past incarnations and we shall not disappoint.  So, get ready Mothafukas!!

With that being said….  

We are STALEFATE. We are here to pump our adrenaline filled, tube driven orchestra of  Superdoompunkstonermetalrock into the world so that you may bang your head in joyous approval... and yes, you are welcome!!   More music is to follow, and we will be in your city soon enough. We look forward to seeing you at the shows!
